The 3rd Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025, supported by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and organised at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, will be held from 25–29 September 2025. It will feature over 500 international buyers from 85+ countries, including all G20 members, engaging with 2,400 exhibitors and more than 100,000 sellers. The event is expected to facilitate not only export orders but also joint ventures, technology tie-ups, and potential FDI inflows. By bringing together global delegations and local manufacturers, UPITS aims to position Uttar Pradesh as a hub of international trade and investment.
Large-scale buyer-seller meets such as UPITS demonstrate how state-level trade promotion can complement national export policy. The event’s outcomes could directly influence India’s global trade competitiveness, diversify export markets, and strengthen FDI linkages at the sub-national level.
Relevant Question for Policy Stakeholders:
How can lessons from UPITS be institutionalised to make state-led trade shows a regular part of India’s export promotion strategy?
