Goa Government Inducts 7,500 Youth into Public Sector Jobs under Rojgar Melava

The Goa Government, under Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, distributed over 900 appointment letters at a Rojgar Melava organized under the Sewa Pakhwada initiative at Kala Academy, Panaji. CM Sawant announced that 5,000 youth will join Government roles through the Goa Human Resource Development Corporation over the next two years, while an additional 2,500 jobs will be offered via the Staff Selection Commission.

Appointments span multiple departments, including Education, Rural Development, Environment and Climate Change, and Water Resources. The Chief Minister emphasized building a self-reliant workforce aligned with the vision of “Viksit Bharat,” highlighting that dedication to public service is central to state and national development. He also underscored the role of Nari Shakti, Yuva Shakti, Kisan Shakti, and Garib Kalyan as foundational pillars for inclusive growth.
