On 12 September 2025, NALSAR University and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) jointly organised Corp-Con 2025 at Hyderabad, focusing on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) integration and forthcoming reforms under IBC 3.0. DG and CEO of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, underscored the need to embed ESG into corporate law, stakeholder theory, and building trust across institutions. Speakers discussed challenges in ESG implementation, legal frameworks, and the role of insolvency & bankruptcy proceedings in ensuring accountability. Selected papers from the conference are to be published.

With corporate governance norms tightening globally, the discussions at Corp-Con signal India’s push to modernise regulatory standards around ESG and insolvency. The reform under IBC 3.0 and ESG integration can reshape corporate behaviour, improve stakeholder trust, and strengthen institutional resilience.
